Privacy Policy

Abbot Financial Management, Inc.’s (AFM) privacy policy respects client assets in accordance with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Gram-Leach-Bliley Act Privacy Regulations enacted by congress in November 1999.

AFM collects only that client information needed to establish accounts with client approved brokers.  Client information is shared only with qualified third parties who have established relationships with the client, for instance, the client’s personal CPA firm and their attorney.  Under no circumstances are a client’s accounts or personal information disclosed to any other party without written permission by the client and for the named party.

Further, all relevant client statements, transactions, and pertinent personal information are retained for the required period of years and then shredded to protect the client’s privacy.

Abbot Financial Management continually maintains and updates our Form ADV. Any client wishing to review the Form ADV will receive a copy.
